Iffat Ara Alvi

As salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. My name is Iffat Ara Alvi. I am a student of Tarjuma and Tafseerul Quran diploma course at Al Mishkaat. I have done MSc in. mathematics in 2010 and also did B.Ed.

I did few online courses before joining Al Mishkaat.
The Tarjuma course at Al Mishkaat is unique course as our teachers help us understand every single word of Quran in a way that our understanding of tarjumah is deep and thorough.
I am also incharge of Daily Hadith program that hundreds of women benefit from. It brings me a great deal of pleasure to be part of Al Mishkaat community.

Khajista Sarwat

As salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. My name is Khajista Sarwat. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. I have been part of Al Mishkaat Islamic Institute since 2011, marking 13 years of learning and growth. During this time, I have studied Quranic tarjumah, tafseer, and grammar, and a number of lectures that our Ustazah delivered on different occasions. I currently serve as an in-charge of the short courses offered at Al Mishkaat. Our latest short course is Al Seerah Al Nabawiyyah. My experience has been enriching, and I wholeheartedly recommend this institute to anyone looking to begin or deepen their study of the Quran.

Huba Zulfiqar

With a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, I understand the power of communication & storytelling which I aim to harness in this course. I started my Hifdh journey from Al Mishkaat. And learned the intricacies of proper recitation and memorization from some of the best teachers.
I aim to create an environment where this journey is infused with joy, encouragement, and spiritual growth as it was for me.
Together we will explore the beauty of Quran, cultivate discipline in our memorization & develop a deeper connection with the kalam of Allahسبحانه وتعالى

Madiha Khurram

As salamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
I am Madiha khurram. I did my bachelors in Commerce. I completed my Quran tarjuma and tafseerul Quran diploma course with Almishkaat in 2024. My dear friend Maliha Owais took admission in this course and encouraged me to take admission. we completed our course together, May Allah kareem bless her with jaza e khair who connected me to the Almishkaat and Ustazah. Almishkaat made me a student of Quran, which is an honour for me Albamdolillah. I have the honor of being part of Al Mishkaat as a student as well as a teacher. Alhamdulillah I am now teaching Tarjuma and Tafseerul Quran diploma course to student group named Banaat Javairiyah.

Maliha Owais

As salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
My name js Maliha Owais, I am teaching Trajuma and Tafseer ul Quran Diploma course to group named Banaat Maymounah.
I did MSc in Physiology from University of Karachi.
I started Tarjumatul Quran and Arabic Grammar Course with Al Mishkaat Islamic institute in October 2015 alhamdolillah under the guidance of our ustazah.
It has been a life changing experience for me, as this course not only brought me close to Allah SWT and Quran but also resolved crisis that existed in me.
Now my sole purpose is to be a student of Quran and learn n try to teach it for Allah’s forgiveness, His mercy and for a success in Aakhirah.

Darakhshan Imran

As salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
I am Darakhshan Imran and I am a biotechnologist with an MPhil in Biotechnology. Since 2016, I’ve been part of Almishkaat Islamic institute where I attended Tarjuma and Tafseerul Quran diploma course and then had the honor of teaching starting in 2019. I am currently teaching Trajuma and Tafseerul Quran diploma course to two groups of students namely, Banaat Umm Kulthoum and Banaat Zainab. My learning journey is marked by a dedication to both science and faith, continually growing and sharing knowledge.

Aalimah Hafizah Shazia Ansari

Ustazah Shazia Ansari is an American Islamic Scholar originally from Pakistan. With an MBA degree, she worked in Telecommunications in the USA and Middle East. Due to religious and spiritual guidance from her grandmother, Ustazah was keen to seek religious knowledge. Ultimately this desire led her to obtain an ‘Aalimah degree from Wifaq ul Madaris from Pakistan, an advanced Tajweed degree from the Middle East, and a Hafizah degree from Arab teachers. Ustazah never stopped learning. She has worked under the guidance of her teacher for Sahih Bukhari Honorable Mufti Irfan Nadvi to continue her learning in Quran, Hadith, ‘Aqeedah, etc.

Ustazah is the founding president of Al Mishkaat Islamic Institute, registered in the USA in 2011. This has been a mission of Ustazah and the Al Mishkaat Team to offer Islamic education to women and girls where learning is a passion and education is knowledge. In the words of Ustazah: “As long as our teachers are teaching in the love of Allah SWT and our students are learning to please Allah SWT, every minute spent at Al Mishkaat is like collecting a treasure. Joining Al Mishkaat as a teacher or student means only one thing: you have joined a blessed caravan and every step of this caravan takes you closer to One and Only Allah SWT.”
