Ustazah Shazia Ansari is an American Islamic Scholar originally from Pakistan. With an MBA degree, she worked in Telecommunications in the USA and Middle East. Due to religious and spiritual guidance from her grandmother, Ustazah was keen to seek religious knowledge. Ultimately this desire led her to obtain an ‘Aalimah degree from Wifaq ul Madaris from Pakistan, an advanced Tajweed degree from the Middle East, and a Hafizah degree from Arab teachers. Ustazah never stopped learning. She has worked under the guidance of her teacher for Sahih Bukhari Honorable Mufti Irfan Nadvi to continue her learning in Quran, Hadith, ‘Aqeedah, etc.
Ustazah is the founding president of Al Mishkaat Islamic Institute, registered in the USA in 2011. This has been a mission of Ustazah and the Al Mishkaat Team to offer Islamic education to women and girls where learning is a passion and education is knowledge. In the words of Ustazah: “As long as our teachers are teaching in the love of Allah SWT and our students are learning to please Allah SWT, every minute spent at Al Mishkaat is like collecting a treasure.
